While cre­at­ing an illus­tra­tion of the iPhone 4 for the Foound web app, I dis­cov­ered the rounded cor­ner radius of the phone’s phys­i­cal frame is exactly that of the width and height of appli­ca­tion icons on the homescreen.

If I had dug deeper and looked closely at Apple’s prod­uct blue­prints, I would likely dis­cover more of such indus­trial design magic.
