Myself

I began as a self-taught designer working for small boutique web agencies. Later I went freelance and worked for larger studios including ASATSU-DK. The work I produced include Flash microsites and product demos for Yahoo! and SONY. I moved on to pursue user interface design and started working for Singapore startups, beginning with Widgeous. I then worked as lead designer for SportsHook from 2008 – 2009 before I co-founded Communication Analysts – a design consultancy in 2009 with clients like Shashi Tharoor (ex-UN undersecretary and Indian Minister), the Indian Premier League and National Heritage Board of Singapore. I went back to startups and join Found as Director of Design from 2010 – 2011, after designing its very successful launch to a panel which included Dave McClure. I was invited to the jury for the 2011 Crowbar Awards. Over the years I became known as one of the top product designers in Singapore. I write regularly on practical and esoteric design principles. I’m currently freelancing once more and recently founded my own startup Likables with some of the most talented people in Singapore. I am also a contributing author for Smashing Magazine, a father and INTP with 136 IQ.
