The Miele Guide
The Miele Guide is a regional food guide launched in 2007 by Ate Media as Asia’s answer to the Michelin Guide. The handy food guide showcases the best restaurants democratically nominated and curated by votes from Visa cardholders.

The Miele Guide
Together with U-zyn, I designed and developed an online system to collect restaurant nominations and votes which are then curated to end up as content for the guide each year. We worked continuously to improve the usability and performance of the site. Presumably as a result of improved information architecture and user interface design, conversions doubled in the second year over the first. More votes were also collected. User satisfaction also improved.

The Miele Guide
The website opens for nominations and votes for a period of a few months each year. Besides collecting nominations and votes, the website is also used to market the guide and the various related culinary scholarships offer by partners.

The Miele Guide
To make the website accessible to as big an Asian audience as possible, we made the site available in languages other than English, such as Japanese, traditional and simplified Chinese and Korean.
